Tony Dyson brings over 40 years of knowledge and management experience in upstream oil and gas development and related infrastructure. Mr. Dyson began his career as a field supervisor before ascending the ladder to be named President and COO of the Bryan Woodbine Operating Company, which operated over 27,000 combined gross acres in the Bryan Austin Chalk and Bryan Woodbine Units. Mr. Dyson also oversaw the design, implementation, and expansion of the gathering system infrastructure to service these fields. After BWOC, Mr. Dyson founded Centex Energy, an independent exploration and production company primarily focused on Austin Chalk development that he still operates today. In 2012, Mr. Dyson co-founded Dyson Energy Group, an energy-focused family office that has achieved multiple successful exits over the past decade.
Mr. Dyson has served on various boards and commissions throughout his career, including as president and founding member of the Brazos Valley chapter of the American Petroleum Institute. He holds a degree in economics from Newcastle University.
