Infinity Water Solutions (Infinity), an energy-based sustainability, technology and water management company, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Whitney Dobson as Chief Operations Officer (COO) effective immediately. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Dobson is a recognized leader in produced water management, specifically when it comes to beneficial reuse.

“Whitney’s experience and proven track record in the world of produced water makes her the perfect fit for our growing organization; we’re thrilled that our vision and dedicated team have attracted such an esteemed professional,” said Michael Dyson, Infinity’s Chief Executive Officer. “Her leadership, knowledge and know-how will be pivotal as we continue to expand our operations. Moving forward, our next steps will undoubtedly transform the industry and redefine the standards for water management, sustainability and efficiency.”

Dobson joins Infinity from Aris Water Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: ARIS), where she previously held the position of Vice President and was instrumental in driving progress on several beneficial reuse initiatives. There, she successfully led multiple high-profile, cross-operator projects including one that focused on cost effective, scalable methods of treating produced water for industrial, commercial and non-consumptive agricultural purposes.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead Infinity’s operations and robust infrastructure buildout. They are a rapidly expanding outfit with a significant presence in the Permian Basin,” said Whitney Dobson. “Their advanced technology, skilled team and bold approach to innovation are having a profound impact on water management in the heart of domestic energy production.”

Dobson has unquestionably contributed significantly to the industry’s body of research on treatment technologies, scaling capabilities and reuse opportunities. Her expertise in leveraging cutting-edge solutions and fostering sustainable practices aligns perfectly with Infinity’s mission to provide closed-loop water management solutions.

“Infinity is entering an exciting stage in our evolution and Whitney’s addition marks a pivotal milestone on that journey,” said Dyson. “We take innovation seriously and are committed to advancing research and technology both sustainably and profitably. The alignment of our mission, vision and culture, combined with her curiosity, determination and drive, makes this match a worthwhile endeavor – not just for Team Infinity, but the industry as a whole.”

Founded in 2019, Infinity employs green infrastructure and clean technology to address the water and wastewater needs of oil and gas operators in Texas and New Mexico. The company currently operates two water recycling facilities and plans to open four more by the end of the year. Upon completion, its Northern Delaware network will have 250,000 barrels of daily throughput capacity, with more than 20 million barrels of storage and staging.
